On September 12, 2023, the Ministry of Public Health (MOHP) of Qatar, in partnership with the Dataflow Group, introduced the Primary Source Verification (PSV) process.
This process replaces the previous notarization/attestation process for manufacturer registration certificates, CE or FDA certificates from the country of origin, and Free Sale Certificates (FSC) from the country of origin, including the IMD reference codes. This change was announced through Circular No. (DHP/2023/100) - Primary Source Verification (PSV) of documents for Implanted Medical Devices (IMD) Registration became mandatory as of October 1, 2023.
