From Engineering to Regulatory Affairs

Edit's path to regulatory affairs began in 2012 after completing her degree in industrial and management engineering. Initially, she worked as a project manager and planner, but her quest for a more fulfilling role led her to Arazy Group. "I wasn't part of Regulatory Affairs in the past. So I just learned it here," she explained. Her transition into this field highlights her adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges. This interaction and the dynamic environment keep her motivated and engaged in her work.

Navigating Challenges and Embracing Rewards

Regulatory affairs is a dynamic field, constantly evolving with new rules and regulations. Edit finds this aspect both challenging and rewarding. "Regulatory Affairs can be challenging because of constantly changing rules and we need to be on top of each change," she noted. Despite these challenges, she thrives on the complexity of her work, particularly when it involves learning about new medical devices and understanding their technical specifications.

Edit's passion for her work is evident in her enthusiasm for interacting with clients and colleagues. "I love to be in contact with the people. I like to work with the clients and internally, we also have some work with our team. So I found it interesting and monitoring everything together is also challenging but I found it also a part that I like," she shared.

A Vision for the Future

Looking ahead, Edit sees the potential for greater standardization in regulatory affairs, especially in challenging markets like China and Russia. "I would say that most countries work with, rely on the regulation in the CE technical file. But still, we have a lot of challenging countries like China or the big countries like Russia which gives us a lot of challenges to get into their markets," she explained. She envisions improvements in the structure of work and more coordinated processes across countries to ease the regulatory burden for clients.

Personal Life and Hobbies

Outside of work, Edit leads a fulfilling personal life. She is married to Shah and they have seven-year-old twin boys. They live in a small village and enjoy hiking and exploring their country. Edit's main hobby is baking, and she is known for her delicious lemon pie and cheesecake. "I like to do that on weekends and for my friends and family, sometimes for work for the office as well," she said.
